Played the course on the January 22 with 2 brothers who were course members. Shot an 89 with a 42 on thr front and a 47 on the back. Again I struggled a bit more on the back nine.
Played the course again on February 15 with two locals that I met a few weeks earlier. Hank and Jack are ex military guys that met here in Las Vegas and became close friends. This was my third outing with them and I truly appreciate and enjoy their companionship. On this day I shot an 85, with a 37 on the front and a 48 on the back.

Golf in Las Vegas, here is your best bet! Designed by acclaimed golf course architect Arthur Hills, The Legacy Golf Club is an 18-hole, desert jewel highlighted by manicured playing conditions, multi-tiered fairways and large undulating greens.

Stretching 7,233 yards from the professional tees, this memorable layout is a strong challenge for the scratch player, yet also accommodates the novice with well-spaced tee boxes and generous landing areas. And speaking of tee boxes, the 10th hole at The Legacy may be the most recognizable in all of Las Vegas.

Each tee box is in the shape of playing cards suits: Hearts, Diamonds, Clubs and Spades. Also notorious at this premier facility, is the "Devil's Triangle." Holes 11, 12, and 13 make for a devilish trio of exciting challenges. The Legacy has become synonymous in Las Vegas for providing country club-style services and amenities. In fact, The Legacy Golf Club was selected as one of the "Top 10 Courses You Can Play" in Nevada, by Golf Digest.

Another beautiful day in Vegas. This course is in Henderson about 20 minutes from the strip and very busy. I played well shooting a 42 on the front and a 46 on the back for an 88. Struggled a bit on the back however a good round.

Primm Valley Desert GC, Primm Ca. Played 12/23/12)

Source
Established in 1998.

The day I played Primm started out beautifully, however the weather changed once we got to the 6th hole. The winds picked up to about 25-30 mph causing havoc with high shots. We were moving well until we hit the 12th hole. There was a 6th some on the fairway having a jolly of a time slowing down progress, and a foursome waiting on the tee. We decided to skip hole #12 and 13, and move onto the 14th par three. Averaging holes 12 and 13, I ended the day with a 94.
The map shows Primm as being in Nevada  however it is in California just across the state line and about 45 minutes from the strip toward Los Angeles.

Oak Creek GC, Sedona AZ (Played Dec 7/2012)

It was a beautiful day and played with a local member of the club. We played 9 holes and as we were getting ready to tee off on the 10th, we were told we had to wait because members were playing in a shotgun tournament. The member advised that the pace of play would be very slow because of the tourney so we decided to call it a day. I was playing very well and shot a 42 on the front nine.
